Thank you for using strong basic brush usage that allows for advanced polished end results. Will check out the Monroe brushes. I also liked the fun whimsical teaching method. Hair is fun...keep us smiling while teaching and doing:) Happy Hair.

Thanks for the teaching. I was doing the blow drying the hard way and it was really hurting my wrist.

I happen to be working with the "Marilyn" brushes which are essentially the same. This was also a very good episode. However, the chop sticks are not ideal, as we have the right tools designed to hold hair in place...It is also a safety issue; those chop sticks looked sharp!. Thanks.

Thanks to my favorite teacher at Empire Beauty school, Adamys Cancel, for informing me about scissorboy. I'm better because of it!

Lovely demonstration of techniques and brush usage, i hold my hairdryer the exact same way because i am left handed and find it easier. I wish we could buy these in the UK!

Not sure about holding the dryer this way. It puts a lot of stress on the thumbs and hands. You don't have easy access to the controls. The manufacturers of these expensive dryers, design them for balance as well as performance and holding them in this fashion, disregards their ease of operation and design. You mention carpal tunnel, but failed to mention tendinitis which is also a threat in our industry so we must take care to take advantage of products that help us to stay healthy in our profession. The blow dry techniques are excellent and thank you for showing this. I am a teacher and practicing stylist as well. I can not stress to the students enough how important the blow dry set technique is and the "that's good enough" will never do if they want to build or maintain a good clientele.
